I purchased these rather expensive snowboard pants with the intention of wearing them for multiple seasons. I put them on and was stoked with how comfortable everything was and enjoyed all of the additional pocket real estate that was there from a traditional snowboard pant.I got to the top of the hill for my first day of giving them a try and bent over to strap in my boots and heard the most gut wrenching ripping sound of my lifetime. Felt between my legs and sure enough there was a rip that had formed off of the seam. Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how I felt.I spoke with a customer service rep and was told that the only thing they could do is file a warranty claim to replace the pants. I am feeling like the quality on these is not high enough to warrant owning them based on this experience. I am unsure if this was a defect with the particular item I received but I would advise looking into other brands.I have been a big fan of Burton for awhile and have boots and bindings of theirs but this experience has me questioning if the rumors of their quality going down hill are true.Very warm And the only thing we didn’t like about it is that they get dirty pretty quickly but that’s what you get when you buy white items.
